
Make it five straight wins over Heritage Christian Academy for the Hopkins County Central Storm. Levi Stanley gave the Storm five strong innings as Hopkins Central took a 7-1 game that ended after five innings due to darkness. The Storm took advantage of 12 walks given up by Warrior pitching.
The Storm scored a run in the first and a run in the second to go up 2-0. Hopkins Central then put five runs in the board in the top of the third to put the game out of reach at 7-0.
Pitching struggles were key for the Warriors as Hopkins County Central scored four runs in the top of the third inning on bases-loaded walks.
The Warriors got on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning when Henry Bullard scored from third on a passed ball to make it 7-1.

Daniel Brady led the Storm, going 2-3. Neilan Bruce finished 1-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.
Caden Gresham, Henry Bullard, Caden Hale, and Lawson Clark had one hit each for the Warriors.
Levi Stanley went five innings for Hopkins Central (3-2), giving up one unearned run on four hits, striking out seven and walking two.
Collin Outland got the start for Heritage Christian (2-3). He went 2 ⅓ innings, giving up five runs on three hits, striking out two and walking six.
