The Caldwell County Lady Tigers faced off against the Livingston Central Lady Cardinals in the semifinal round of the 2026 All A Softball Classic at Crittenden County. Livingston has won this tournament two years in a row, and they will get a chance for a third after a 3-0 victory against Caldwell.

Nobody scored for the first four innings, as both team’s pitchers were having their way on the hill, but it was the Lady Cardinals who were eventually able to strike first.

Livingston Central got it going with a solo home run to center field, and they followed it up quickly with an RBI triple. After a couple more innings of stopping the Lady Tigers’ offense, the Lady Cardinals hit another triple to make it 3-0.

The game ended up being a pitcher’s duel, as that three-run lead was all the Lady Cardinals needed to get the win and advance to the final round of the tournament.

Alexis Wood started on the mound for Caldwell County, and she was able to pitch all seven innings of the game. She started off the game getting all of the ground balls her team needed, but Livingston’s imposing offense was eventually able to break through.

Addison Tramble also pitched all seven innings for the Lady Cardinals, and she allowed just two hits in her way to racking up an impressive 12 strikeouts.

At the plate, Caldwell’s base hits came from a pair of singles from Daelen Kizzee and Josey Lee DeHart.

While Livingston will advance to play Lyon County in the championship, Caldwell will be hoping to bounce back in their next one against the Lady Colonels of Christian County on Thursday, April 9. That game will be played at 5:30 p.m. at Caldwell County High School.
