The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons continue to be one of the hottest volleyball teams in the 2nd Region as the regular season winds down. The Lady Maroons won their 5th straight match and 15th straight set as they swept the UHA Lady Blazers Tuesday night in Madisonville.
The win was the third this season for the Lady Maroons over the Lady Blazers. All three of the wins have been in straight sets.
In Tuesday night’s match, Madisonville took the opening set 25-17. The Lady Maroons kept things rolling in the second set with a 25-15 win to go up two sets to none in the match.
Madisonville would then close out the match by taking the third set 25-12.
UHA falls to 15-11 on the season with the loss. The Lady Blazers will wrap up the regular season this weekend at the Toyota of Hopkinsville Western Kentucky Smack Down.
