Emma Dowell finished second at Saturday’s Class 2A Golf Sectional held at Boots Randolph Golf Course and will be heading to the state tournament.
Dowell finished 13 shots behind the winner, Javen Campbell of Calloway County.
Union County took the team title with 420 points. They finished 17 shots ahead of second place Calloway County.
Campbell, Dowell, and Union County will play in the Class 2A State Tournament the weekend of September 11 at the Owensboro Country Club.
