With their first full season of KHSAA competition just over two months away, the search for a new boys’ soccer coach at Heritage Christian Academy is getting underway. School officials announced Tuesday afternoon that Coach Clinton Willis is retiring after two years as the head coach of HCA’s varsity soccer program.
In a statement, Athletic Director Matt McGowan added “We want to thank Coach Willis for his leadership of our program over the past two seasons. We wish Coach Willis and his family nothing but the best and pray they enjoy having him around a little more often.”
Willis led Heritage to a 25-6-2 record during his two-year tenure, including the school’s first-ever KCAA state soccer championship in 2021.
