
The Trigg County boys’ track and field team finished in 15th place at Saturday’s Area 1 Championship at Paducah Tilghman and added seven personal bests to their season list.
RUNNING EVENTS
Braxton Hargrove ran a season-best time of 48 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles to finish in 11th place.
Brody Renfroe ran a personal best time in the 800 meters (2:12.02) and finished in 13th place.
Dekon Perry clocked a personal best time of 2:20.85 in the 800 meters and finished in 20th place.
Grant Gallogly was 17th in the 3200-meter run with a time of 12:56.06 and was 23rd in the 1600-meter run in 5:59.96.
Carter Shepherd finished in 17th place in the 200-meter dash with a new personal best time – 24.59 seconds. He also ran a personal best in the 100-meter dash to finish in 25th place.
Cameron Sanders came in 19th place in the 200-meter dash with a personal best time of 25.57 seconds. He also ran a personal best, finishing 29th in the 100-meter dash in 12.37 seconds.

RELAYS
The 3200-meter relay team came in sixth place in 8:54.93.
The 1600-meter relay team finished in eighth place in 4:07.12
The 800-meter relay team of Carter Shepherd, Sanders, Matthew Reeves, and Braxton Hargrove was 11th with a season-best time of 1:41.14.

FIELD EVENTS
Kahmani Bush jumped 20-03.75 to finish in fourth place in the long jump.
Matthew Reeves came in 11th place in the high jump at 5-6.
TayShaun Linton was 20th in the shot put with a heave of 31-06 and was 27th in the discus throw at 76-01.
Connor Fitzhugh was 23rd in the long jump at 13-08.50.
Kell Norwood was 27th in the shot put with a personal best of 27 feet. He also finished 28th in the discus throw at 71 feet.
