A former standout basketball player at Heritage Christian Academy is headed north to continue his basketball and educational career. HCA grad Carlos Robles has announced that he will be attending East West University in Chicago.
East West University is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and is in the process of making the transition to NCAA Division II.
Carlos Robles finished his career in 2023 as Heritage Christian’s all-time leading scorer and was named Mr. Basketball by the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association.
Robles had 1,756 career points and set a record with 846 points during his senior season. That total included the single-game scoring record at HCA with 44 points.
