DeNayia Holmes scored over 2,000 points during her basketball career at University Heights Academy. She is currently the starting guard at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, MO.
DeNayia Holmes has always had leadership abilities. It’s something that she looks forward to sharing on the floor in college and possibly afterwards as a coach.
The former University Heights Academy standout scored over 2,000 points in her playing career until a knee injury cut short her senior season in the district tournament. After taking a year away from the game to rehab her knee, Holmes played at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, MO last year and averaged 8.2 points, 4.5 assists and two steals while starting all 30 games for the Lady Raiders.
She has upped her numbers this year, scoring 10 points and handing out 4.8 assists in helping Three Rivers get off to a 13-5 start.
