Three days after winning the Hopkinsville Invitational at the Hopkinsville Country Club, James Folz went across town and took second place Thursday at the Christian County Invitational at Western Hills Golf Course.
Folz shot a 1-under 70 to finish two shots behind Madisonville’s Jackson Hill. Both golfers are in the discussion as the Region 2 favorite this season.
Evan Pyle shot a 78 to finish in 17th place, and Will Binkley’s round of 81 was good for 22nd place.
Joey Falco shot an 87, Calvin Demps an 88, and Andrew Riggs an 89 for Hopkinsville.
Hopkinsville finished in sixth place with 317 points as just 15 points separated the top six teams. Greenwood won the event with 302 points.
