Christian County’s Autumn Bell added her name to the school’s track and field record book Saturday at the Paducah Tilghman Invitational.
The Lady Colonel senior nailed a leap of 35-feet, 11-inches in the triple jump, which surpassed the old mark of 35-feet, 9.5 inches set by Martajia Armstrong at the 2013 Class 3A State Track Meet.
It was the only win of the day for the Lady Colonels, although Jayda Johnson finished second in the 400-meter dash. Johnson was also part of the 1600-meter relay team that finished second.
As a team, Christian County finished in sixth place with 46 points. Calloway County ran away with the team title, and Paducah Tilghman finished in second place.
