Connor Dill and the University Heights Academy 400-meter relay team both earned all-state honors from the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Dill was named first-team all-state in the 300-meter hurdles and second-team all-state in the 100-meter hurdles.
Dill won the Class 1A 300-meter hurdles in a time of 39.89 seconds, becoming the first UHA athlete to win a state title since Isiah Pantiere won both the 200 meters and 400 meters in 2019.
Dill also finished in fourth place in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 15.41 seconds, just missing his school record by .14 seconds.
UHA’s 400-meter relay team pulled off a surprising third-place finish at the Class 1A State Meet with a school-record time of 45.58 seconds. The team of Mason Price, Trey Wyatt, Ethan Hale, and Griffin McCoy earned second-team all-state honors.
