Playing at the Madisonville Country Club on Thursday, the Madisonville-North Hopkins boys golf team captured 3rd-place at the Hopkins County Central Invitational.
Gavin Sheets led the Maroons with a 37 on the front and the back nine to finish with a 74. Ben Dickerson followed with a 76, Paul Harris shot an 80, Max Clayton carded an 87, and Maddox Wilson posted a 91.
The Maroons totaled a 317, trailing Ohio County’s 306 in 2nd and Marshall County in 1st-place with a 292.
