The Christian County Colonels racked up seven personal bests at Saturday’s Area 1 Championship at Paducah Tilghman.
As a team, the Colonels finished in eighth place.
RUNNING EVENTS
Freshman Satona Bailey clocked a personal best time of 11.19 seconds in the 100-meter dash to finish second to McCracken County’s James Barragan (11.02). His time was the eighth fastest in school history.
He came in seventh place in the 200-meter dash with a personal best time of 23.02 seconds, seventh fastest in school history.
Cayden Cline came in third place in the 3200-meter run with a personal best time of 11:01.62.
Kristen Johnson was sixth in the 100-meter dash with a personal best time of 11.27 seconds. He was also eighth in the 200-meter dash with a personal best of 23.10 seconds.
Michael Webb ran a 2:08.60 in the 800 meters and finished in eighth place.
Wyatt Fleming was 12th in the 800-meter dash in 2:11.04.
Aiden Knepper was 15th in the 3200-meter run with a personal best time of 12:45.89.
Jack Long was 17th in the 300-meter hurdles in 52.61 seconds.
Max Ray was 20th in the 400-meter run with a personal best time of 59.50 seconds.
RELAYS
The 3200-meter relay team won with a time of 8:41.59, fourth fastest in school history.
The 800-meter relay team finished in eighth place in 1:35.45.
FIELD EVENTS
Christopher McCarley was third in the discus throw at 131-10, tied for seventh best.
Treshawn Crenshaw was 23rd in the shot put at 28-02 and 31st in the discus throw at 58-01.
