Lyon County’s John Bingham drilled a two-run home run to left-center in the bottom of the fifth inning of Saturday’s game against Greenwood in Eddyville.
At the time, that put the Lyons up 5-4.
It was Bingham’s second longball of the game. He also had a two-run shot in the fourth inning.
Still, Lyon needed a three-run seventh to pull out an 8-7 victory over the Gators.
Bingham finished the game 2-for-3 with four RBIs and was also the winning pitcher.
