Lady Wildcats Finish 16th at Area 1 Championship

Trigg County’s 16th-place finish at the Area 1 Championship Saturday came with five personal bests on the Paducah Tilghman track.

RUNNING EVENTS

Riley Brame came in 10^th in the 100-meter hurdles in 19:00.

Alicia McGee came in seventh place in the 200-meter dash with a personal best time of 28 seconds flat. She also finished in 12^th place in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 56.57 seconds. McGee’s personal best time of 13.49 seconds was good for a 13th-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles.

Broke Humphries was 16^th in the 100-meter hurdles in a season-best time of 19.68.

Gabbi McGee ran a personal best time of 1:04.92 in the 300-meter hurdles to finish in 17^th place.

Ella Dollison ran a personal best time in the 400 meters of 1:16.10 and was 21^st. She also finished in 23^rd place in the 800 meters in 3:10.87.

Brilee Higgins was 23^rd in the 200-meter dash with a personal best time of 30.54 seconds.

Evonna McGee was 25^th in the 400 meters in 1:21.86.

Addison Humphries gutted out a 32nd-place finish in 17.75 seconds.

RELAYS

The 3200-meter relay team came in ninth place in 12:26.54.

FIELD EVENTS

Riley Brame came in third place in the high jump with a season-best height of 4-8.

Alivia Norwood finished 12^th in the shot put with a toss of 25-01 and was 16^th in the discus throw at 72-06.

Evonna McGee was 17^th in the discus throw at 68-07, a season-best for the senior.

Brooke Humphries was 18^th in the shot put at 22 feet.

Evonna McGee was 20^th in the long jump at 13 feet.

Ella Dollison was 21^st in the long jump at 12 feet.
