Hopkinsville finished eighth at the Union County Golf Invitational Saturday at Breckinridge Golf Course in Morganfield. Cole Taylor shot a 4-over-par 76 to finish tied for sixth place.
Edward Lee Major shot an 83, while James Folz shot an 89, Will Binkley added a season-best 94, and Dalton Bearns shot a 105.
Hopkinsville’s team score was 342, one shot behind Muhlenberg County and three shots ahead of Christian County. Union County (310) edged McCracken County (311) by one shot to take the team title.
