The Hopkinsville boys golf team welcomed almost twenty teams to the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club High School Invitational on Monday at the Hopkinsville Golf & Country Club.
Joey Falco led the Tigers to an 11th-place showing with a 347, with McCracken County taking 1st-place just ahead of 2nd-place St. Mary.
Falco shot a 38 on the front and a 41 on the final nine holes to finish with a 79. McCracken County’s Camryn Beatty shot a 70 and topped Daviess County’s Grant Boughton in a playoff to claim 1st-place.
Next for the Tigers, Andrew Riggs and Ryan Martin each shot an 86, Thomas Grise posted a 96, and Isaiah Wood finished with a 110.
Hoptown heads to the Central City Country Club on Wednesday to participate in the Muhlenberg County Invitational.
