Hopkinsville tied for eighth place at the Henderson County Golf Invitational played Saturday at the Henderson Country Club.
The Tigers’ team score of 369 tied them with El Dorado, Illinois, and was 32 shots out of a top 5 finish.
Isaiah Wood had the top score for Hoptown along with Sam Riggs. They both shot a 16 over par 88. Wood’s round included a birdie on the back nine as part of a 4-over-par 40.
Henry Riggs tied for 46th place with a 22 over par 94. Ryan Martin tied for 56th place with a 27 over par 99, and Aiden Riley shot a 110 for the Tigers.
Bronson Tippett of El Dorado, Illinois, won the event with a 1-over-par 73.
